The family at Blackhoof Farm wanted to honor the history of their 100 year old farmhouse, drawing out unique features- like brick found in the kitchen wall where there’s now a wine rack- and still adding modern functionality.

The entryway features an oak floating bench that leaves room to tuck shoes. Integrating the security system and light switches in the wall panel camouflages utilitarian necessities.
The original stone fireplace remains a focal point in the living room, with the addition of classic trim work in a dramatic color. The metal wood box adds charm and practicality in protecting the cabinetry.
